How to a book workout time

  • Members must schedule their workout times via email request to fitnesscentre@.
  • Bookings are limited to one hour of use at a time per day.
  • To check for available workout times please visit: Fitness Centre Availability. Members can request work out times for any of the dates shown on the link.
  • Upon arriving at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre, users must check in at the Panther Central desk where they will provide their phone number for contact tracing purposes.

What to include when booking

  • Your name
  • Your ID number (times will not be confirmed without a valid ID number)
  • Date and times requested

Do not include

  • Phone number (phone number required when checking in, not with booking)
  • A booking request for another person. The person booking the time must be the person who uses that time.

Indoor walking track 

How to book a walking time

  • Members must schedule their workout times via phone call request to Panther Central ().
  • Bookings are limited to one hour of use at a time per day.
  • To check for available walking times please visit:

  • Upon arriving at the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre, users will check in at Panther Central desk where they will provide their phone number for contact tracing purposes and receive an ID card to allow access to the walking track.
  • Walking ONLY permitted at this time. NO jogging or running.
  • All users of the walking track will walk in the SAME direction (clockwise) on the inside lane. Follow directional signage and arrows. Passing is permitted on the outside lane only.
  • Please avoid walking side-by-side.

Important details for all users

  1. Masks are mandatory in lobby areas and hallways.
  2. Please follow all directional signage and maintain two metre distance from others.
  3. Please change footwear OUTSIDE the track, fitness centre, and squash courts.
  4. Washrooms are available on the second floor outside the fitness centre and walking track.
  5. Please wash and/or sanitize your hands upon arrival. Hand sanitizer is available at the entrance to the Chi-Wan Young Sports Centre.
  6. We will honour those who previously purchased a day pass or 5 punch pass prior to March 15, 2020. Day passes are available for purchase.
  7. For those with mobility issues, please use accessible entrances/exits as required.
  8. Active campus/membership ID card is required.
